Harrison- Semi aniline color loss and ???? 2 sofas

We have a client with 2 sofas with some damage. We need 2 quarts of dye maybe Aniline 76 or 1 Qt of Aniline 76 and 1 quart of micro-54? Not sure what caused the color loss damage? Any special instructions on prep cleaning because of what you see in pictures?

Recommend a combination of Micro-54 for the lighter primary color and 2Tone-37 for the darker secondary color. You would use double the amount for the 2Tone-37 as you need to remove all of them down the lighter primary color.

Secondary color without a good topcoat that locks them in are easily removed from friction rubs and any liquid that has alcohol or high alkaline content.

1 - All the darker secondary is recommend to be totally remove with Stripper-2.3 > Rinse-3.0.

2 - Absorbent weak areas is recommend to be rejuvenated with Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system to restore suppleness to the leather structure to prevent stiffness that leads to cracks.

3 - A combination of Impregnator-26 > Adhesor-73 > Bond-3D repairs recommended to the weaker areas.

4 - Adhesor-73 recommended prior to the primary lighter custom color Micro-54 to even out appearance prior to the secondary custom color 2Tone-37.

5 - MicroTop-54S (satin) may be used to match original luster.

6 - Protector-B or B+ will reduce wear to the finishes.

I think we will need 1 quart of Micro-54 primary color match and 1 quart 2 tone37 of the secondary color. Is that correct?

I would not be very accurate on how much you would need, I will just rely on your estimate as a little left over is more prudent than a little short.

Roger , we cannot remove secondary coat evenly and are unable to remove all of it. Should we base coat the entire sofa and love seat first so it has an even base coat? Then apply secondary color after it is entirely even with base coat?

Product to strip the secondary coating is with Stripper-2.3.
Tool used is a nylon stripper detailing brush working in a circular motion while the surface is flooded with Stripper-2.3.
Leather Eraser-4 also helps with a better traction.
Consistent timing is important during the stripping process.

You may try Adhesor-73 in combination with abrasive pad in a circular motion to remove as much of the coating prior to base coat it if the above stripping fails.

I believe Stripping is a better option.

We are able to get a lot more of the secondary color off, We will be doing some more removal tomorrow.

It looks you do not need the primary color.

You will need a Adhesor-73 rub before you apply the darker secondary color!

Recommend that you do a random spray or spray through a stencil to create a random effect
