Please describe the dye and best use for each dye. I'm trying to refine our procedure for ordering dye and make it easier for our sales staff and technicians to understand each dye and quick explanation as to how it is best suited.

Aniline-21
Aniline-21 is a “staining” transparent dyestuff and it has to “bite” or “hydrogen bond” into the leather fiber. An example for such usage is for Aniline Wax Pull-Up leathers.
Aniline-76
Aniline-76 is a “coating” transparent dyestuff and it coats over existing topcoat as well. Adhesor-73 as a sealer coating helps repairs scratches and abrasion to smooth the leather prior to dye coating it.
Antique-27
Antique-27 is a hybrid staining and coating translucent dyestuff used as a secondary coloring for antiquing and two-tone leathers. Adhesor-73 is used as a based for better adhesion.
Micro-54
Micro-54 is a coating opaque pigment used for fine pigmented or semi-aniline leathers monotone leathers. Adhesor-73 is used as a based for better adhesion.
Pigment-64
Pigment-64 is a coating opaque pigment used for pigmented, simulated, vinyl and plastic surface especially for lower-end auto interiors and upholstery with vinyl or simulated leathers combination.
Nubuck-98
Nubck-98 is a new opaque formulation for dyeing nubuck, suede and micro-fiber.
All the above comes with its matching topcoats and fixes.
Does Antique-27 need Adhesor-73?
Yes it does.
Adhesor-73 when used to rub with a lint free towel removes deteriorating existing finishes without damages to the remaining finishes.
It sort of "bite" or micro-pile into the existing finishes to provide a strong foundation for the fresh coating to have a better adhesion.
does Aniline-76 need Adhesor-73 also?
All coating dyestuff and pigment will need Adhesor-73 for its various functions.
Adhesor-73 is a water based compact resin adhesion promoter for:
a) Smooth Abraded Surfaces.
b) Removing Deteriorated Existing Finishes.
c) Activate Aniline Dyestuff.
d) Ensure Proper Sealing and Adhesion Promotion.
When we dyed "Partrich" sofa we used Aniline-21 and before applying Aniline-76 I asked you if we needed to apply Adhesor-73. Your reply on that post was not to use Adhesor?
Aniline-21 is a staining dyestuff - so NO Adhesor-73.
Aniline-76 is a coating dyestuff - so Yes Adhesor-73 is used accordingly.
so, on the Partrich sofa we should have used Adhesor-73 before applying Aniline-76. Is the Aniline-76 going to rub off?
Adhesor-73 is used prior to Aniline-76.
But, do we understand why it is to be used?
And what we want to achieve out of it?
It is a product that we need to master its various function, and not to be a slave to it without knowing what we do by just following meaningless instruction.
