Roger, Is this chairs leather too far gone? Maybe can the head area be salvaged at least? thanks in advance I probably need degreaser for the oil, hydrator for the for the stretching and cracking and then maybe some sort of topcoat... I'm assuming the arms are beyond hope.

This Aniline gloss leather types uses transparent dyestuff.

Repairs will take on a darken effect and a darker color will need to camouflage all the repairs, you may be surprise that it will stretch for many years to come.

A darker transparent color is a better option than cheapen the aesthetic with an opaque pigmented color.

The entire chair is salvageable, if you do not mind to have a dark-brown color.
