#5 Returning to the original finish prior to protection or conditioning re-application. A leather-safe system is without the fear of physical harsh scrubbing damages and worries of streaks.

This stripping is recommended as soon as soiling builds up to reduce damages or distorts the beauty of the finishes, easier to look for a system with matched product that takes care of routine, periodic and restorative care in a maintenance cycle.

See examples below, the technique of placing paper towel over the stain and let the Prep-7.7 squeeze through without air space – leave it for a 24 hour inspection and may repeat for another 24 to 48 hours.

Clean the entire seat in this manner:

1] Apply Prep-7.7 over the entire area with the foam brush and leave for 15min to a day and let the product works out the soiling.

2] Sticky residue is removed by Cleaner-3.8.

3] Rinse with Rinse-3.0 until squeaky-clean.

4] Topcoat an option to renew leather finish integrity.

4] Protector-B+ for imparting a non-stick, rub-resistant, buttery-feel with a classic leather scent.

Thanks for the pictures.

Color matching is perfect and refinishing looks new!

Leather is sensuous and pictures can only show that much that pleases the eyes.

The cracking of the leather is caused by “sweat” contamination, penetrating the finishes and shifting the leather protein fiber ionic negative (-ve). Body oil, grease and sweat is removed and the protein fiber recharged ionic positive (+ve) prior to hydrating to relax the thickness of the leather. When the stick together fiber is separated, fat and oil is replenished to soften and strengthen the leather again from reverting to rawhide beneath the new finishes. The integrity of the refinishing will only tell with time, how well it holds up. When refinishing to the damaged areas feels stiffer it will develop cracks too soon when the leather is used with constant compression.

Besides the leather “handle” the sense of touch or tactile-feel is still has to be experience - Steering wheel ideally is to have a draggy-feel for a safer grip for driving, while the console and other areas should ideally have a smooth buttery-feel against sticky soiling and prolonging the abrasion wear with constant contact.

The scent of leather is yet another aspect of leather even a blind man can see.

The sensuousness aspect of leather appeals to our other senses as well besides just by sight and epitomizes the luxuriness with interiors of cars.
