The close-up picture #2 looks most likely it’s caused by body oil and grease contamination.
And in such situation it is also penetrated.

Recommended Removal Procedure:

Degreasing:
Degreaser-2.2 > Rinse-3.0 (Brush-1 + Eraser-4)

Reducing Sun Tanning Darkening Effect:
When dry and after degreasing inspection satisfaction – apply d’Tannin-3.5 treatment to balance the appearance.

Leather Rejuvenating:
When the leather is dry, after Eraser-4 and inspect with satisfaction – proceed with Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0.

Non-stick, Rub-resistant, Draggy-feel, Leather-scented Protection:
Protection-D+
