My G35 was rear ended this summer and spent two months in multiple auto shops. Now that I've gotten it back, the beautiful cream colored leather is dingy and stained. I'm sure from the number of greasy mechanics getting in and out of the vehicle. I've tried leather cleaners from the local auto stores and haven't been able to get the stains out at all. I also have remnant tire stains in the back seat as the goofballs must've thrown the replacement tires back there for transport. HELP!!! This car is my baby and I HAVE to get its beautiful interior back to pristine condition. I've read through some of the forum and some of your posts. I'm not quite sure which kit would work best for my problem. I think the AP3 but I'm not positive. Suggestions?

Color appearance show variation, perhaps it’s the lighting effect; accumulated soiling or color rub-off.
It’s recommended to have a “restorative cleaning” for further reassessment of appearance for possible “color rub-off”.
Perforated panels show creasing – a sign of diminishing fatliquor, where leather stiffen and only flex on weak ceases lines.

Picture #2
Left seam shows 3 horizontal cracks, could it be vinyl? Where the position of the 2 cracks are, the right side show abrasion that may have wear out the transparent topcoat and possible the cream colorcoat. The right side booster shows creases and possible soil accumulation or shadows. The perforated areas show creases with soil accumulation. On the whole it is only after a “restorative cleaning” to remove foreign contamination to determine the extent of surface (colorcoat and topcoat) damages. Certainly fatliquor replenishing will restore suppleness and reduces further coarse creases.

Picture #3
Picture shows obvious rub-off of topcoat, colorcoat and damages that roughens up of the leather crust. These damages are to be restored after “restorative cleaning”. Cleaning is to remove the soil filled creases as well prior to colorcoat and topcoat refinishing.

Tire stains mark is from carbon black that migrates into the leather finishes (colorcoat and topcoat) and up to this moment we are waiting for outcome of a positive result. Tire stain is still in the experimental stage using the same product system for blue jeans dye transfer and ballpoint ink. However, the marks has to be chemically and/or physically removed prior to color coat camouflage it, otherwise it resurface.

Any questions so far…
