Pictures show that this pigmented leather has a two-tone effect also know as the Kela Effect. The maroon color is the primary solid color while the darker tone is the antique translucent effect as the secondary color.

Check the reverse if it is aniline dyed, if so hydrating will get the color back on to the surface. This will reduce the color constrast between leather crust and primary color.

The recommended procedure:

A] Preparatory Cleaning
Use Prep-7.7 > Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.

B] Leather Rejuvenating
Use Hydrator-3.3 to the absorbent areas follows with Fatliquor-5.0

C] Impregnating
Use Impregnator-26 to seal and fill to smooth up the scratches.

D] Surface Repairs
Use leather Bond-3D to bond surface flaps and smoothen with leather Spatula-6

Picture #3
This picture shows scuff to the topcoat, fine sanding with 1500 sanding grit will even out the appearance ready for refinishing with fresh matching satin Topcoat-72.

After repairs the refinishing is done as follows:

E] Adhesion coating
Use Adhesor-73

F] Matching Primary Color
Use Pigment Micro-54 – Maroon with black as shading and/or white as tinting to the required matching color.

G] Secondary Color
Use Antique-27 range to match existing color.
Note: the original secondary color is done with printing machine. Test out to get the best imitating the original.
Try airbrushing or pattern roller painting sponge.

H] Topcoat Protection
Use Topcoat-72 satin or matte to match.

I] Non-Stick Rub Resistant Protector
Use Leather Scent-B
