I tried to read thru the posts, but I am not familiar enough with leather, so I am asking for your help.

I have aquired a leather sofa that is about 4 years old and has had very little use.

It may have been stored in a storage unit in Arizona.

The leather does not appear soiled, but it does seem dry.

There is a spot on the arm about 3/4" x 1/2" that looks as if the finish has been scrubbed off.

I need advise on how to fix that and on how to restore the leather.

I do not like the dull look to the leather and I think it could be much softer.

I would prefer it to be darker.

Here are my pics.

What products do I need and how do I order them.

Thanks

The first picture shows the reverse side which is aniline dye through.

So we can conclude that this is aniline dyed leather which has a secondary
darker color that gives an antique effect.

The missing color can be re-textures with a thick flat bamboo skewers slightly smaller than the average dots with antiqueColor26 that comes in Old English: Black-612, Burgundy-611, Chestnut-621 and Tan-601.

The color could be from a black and chestnut mix to produce the range of shade to match.

Thereafter a matte aniline topcoat - anilineTop79M™ seals and protect it.

Condition it will solve the softness and enrich the shade into a deeper tone.
It involves, hydrator3.3, fatliquor5.0 and leatherScent’B
