To stretch, first the skin has to be relaxed with Hydrator-3.3 and it then stretch back to the original size. Fatliquor-5.0 may also be applied to replenish the original lost fat and oil that cause the shrinkage. Tips on Stretching:
1- Work may be performed a panel at a time.
2- Wet out the entire panel and use a curve object like a large spoon or a small sauce plate and work with ver slow smooth force towards the seams.
3- Make sure to add Hydrator-3.3 to relaxed it and Fatliquor-5.0 to replenish it.
4- You should see improvement when is performed as described.
Note:
Sheepskin can be stretch up to 60% in size when there is sufficient Fatliquor-5.0.
An example is sheepskin glove, how many sizes are there typically; they all fit hand sizes well when stretched.
It will also will rip and tear when there is insufficient Fatliquor-5.0 when dry.
