I have recently purchased a sheepskin flight jacket from the UK.

It has a bit of a 'sheepy' smell and so I have purchased the d'Lanolin5.6, shearling5.5, d'Odor4.5, rinse4.0, and leatherScent'S for the wool side.

I also purchased the d'Odor4.5 and rinse4.0 to use on the leather side along with leatherScent'B.

Could someone please advise me as to which order to use in applying these products?

And should I start on the wool or leather side first?

Thanks!

I would recommend starting with the wool face first, complete the sequence of process with satisfaction before going to the leather face.
And the sequence of process is as follows.

Step 1: Dry Soil Removal
Turn the wool face inside out and zip it up.
Either hang it up with a sturdy broad hanger or place on top of bath towel over a table or counter top.
Use suedeBrush3™ slant at an angle and brush into the deep of the wool pile follows with thorough vacuuming.
Wet cleaning is preferably be done on either on a bath towel covered counter or table top.

Step 2: Preconditioning (de-lanolin)
Spray d’Lanolin5.6™ evenly and brush with suedeBrush3™.
Let dwell 5 to 15 minutes or before it dries for complete soil deflocculation to occur.
Extract clean with dry absorbent towel.

Step 3: Deodorizing
Spray d’Odor 4.5™ evenly and brush with suedeBrush3™.
Let dwell at least 30 minutes or before it dries for chemical reaction to occur.
Extract clean with dry absorbent towel.

Step 4: Cleaning
Spray shearling5.5™ evenly and brush with suedeBrush3™.
Extract clean with dry absorbent towel.

Step 4: Acidifying Rinse
Spray rinse4.0™ evenly and brush with suedeBrush3™.
Extract clean with dry absorbent towel.

Step 5: Drying Process
Either hangs it up to on a broad hanger to dry naturally or dry using a hair dryer as we would blow dry our hair.

Step 6: Grooming
Groom it thoroughly for a bloom.

Step 7: Leather Scent Conditioning
Use leatherScent’S™ shake well and mist spray evenly and groom the product deep in.

Step 8: Drying Process as step 5.

Step 9: Grooming process as in step 6.

Step 10: Inspection for your “sheepy smell” on this wool face before repeating the process on the leather face.

Leather Face

You may repeat the entire product system as you clean the wool face using the d’Lanolin5.6™ > d’Odor4.5™ > clean3.8™ > rinse4.0™ and ends up with leatherScent’B™ using the leatherBrush1™ instead.

You may take some pictures to show us when you’re stuck.

And remember to let us know whether it works to your satisfaction.

Quick note to tell you all (and of course Roger) how well the product worked on my sheepskin jacket.

I followed the instructions to the letter and the jacket is like new.

Smells fine, looks great - top marks for your product and your very helpful instructions.
