Have a small problem with a bag after hydrating and fat liquoring.
After drying run marks appeared as shown in the pictures.
Do you know the possible cause and steps to get rid of it?
Just checked the original photos I took of the bag and the runs were there already but not as noticeable until after the clean.

Marks like these are often associated with products used that have high pH value.
These marks have to be neutralized with a low pH product like Acidifier-2.0 with a pH value of 2.0 to event out the appearance.
Another possibility is to remove these marks by Degreaser-2.2 (pH 2.2) follows with Acidifier-2.0.
Until these marks are even out prior to Fatliquor-5.0 will not produce such phenomenon, as fatliquor will season or intensify the appearance to a degree, thus becomes noticeable.

Another possibilities is the prior application of water repellent that result in those streaks where the surrounding areas becomes more absorbent than the streak, drips and runs. This possible repellent result increase surface tension in those areas, thus unequal surface tension will show up as experience.
The solution to this issue is the same with Degreaser-2.2 > Acidifier-2.0 for corrective cleaning and inspection with Hydrator-3.3 prior to Fatliquor-5.0.

It is recommended to inspect at each end of the process to catch the problem before it snowball and becomes more evident.

It would be good if a test is done to the leather – Spray Hydrator-3.3 over, let the product saturate and see how it turn out may determine the cause of the problem.

Let’s see some pictures!
